AI agents for freight operations

AI agents for freight brokerages, built by operators and engineers.

Graypoint puts agents inside the TMS, inbox, and load boards you already use. Your team approves every booking, rate, and outgoing message.

Brokerages, dispatch desks, and carriers.

A niche practice. We work with operators who want an agent on a real job, not a general AI program.

  • Freight brokerages

Load building, coverage, tracking, and PODs, working beside the brokers you already have.

  • Dispatch operations

Lead follow-up and daily performance checks, with a person approving anything that goes out.

  • Shipper-facing teams

A customer portal on your TMS for orders, tracking, documents, and messages. Carrier pay stays hidden.

Four ways to start. Scope is set on the call.

  • AI operations audit

We review how work moves today and say where a narrow agent fits, and where it does not.

  • Agent buildout

Load building, coverage, rate suggestions, tracking, PODs, email routing, and lead automation. One agent per job.

  • Custom portal or dashboard

A portal or dashboard on your TMS, or a custom TMS if you want one. Order entry, tracking, documents, and messaging.

  • Ongoing support

Rules, fixes, and the next job after the first build is live.

What you keep

  • We build on your existing software.
  • You own what we build for you.
  • Your choice: we hand it off to your team, or we manage and host it for you.

A person signs off at each step.

  1. Audit

We look at the desk and name the jobs an agent can take.

  2. Rules

Your business rules go into the system. Each agent gets one job.

  3. Build

Agents run in your TMS, email, and the other tools you already use.

  4. Approve

Your team approves every booking, rate, and outgoing message.

From the dispatch operation Mike runs.

  • Millions

In freight revenue already moving through the systems we built, March–October 2026.

  • ~3.5×

Weekly booked revenue growth in seven months.

  • FAX27 (opens in a new tab)

Speaker, January 15–16, 2027, Las Vegas.

A live freight brokerage

Agents work beside two brokers inside the tools the brokerage already uses: its TMS, Gmail, Slack, DAT, Macropoint, and Google Sheets.

What the agents do

  • Load building reads new orders, checks for duplicates, and builds the load in the TMS.
  • Load coverage contacts carriers from lane history and load board posting. A person approves every rate and booking.
  • Rate suggestions set customer and target carrier rates from market data.
  • Load tracking confirms every load is tracking and flags dropped tracking.
  • POD collection matches proofs of delivery and submits them for billing.
  • Email routing and inbox cleanup sort the shared inbox and route each message.
  • An open-items monitor flags what is still open.

Orders go straight into the TMS after a duplicate check.

Customer portal

A custom portal connected to the TMS.

  • Order entry
  • Multi-stop route optimization that changes nothing until the user confirms
  • Live tracking
  • Documents on each load
  • Messaging
  • Private receiver links
  • Carrier pay is never shown

How we build

Narrow agents. Your rules. Your approval.

  • A person approves

Every booking, rate, and outgoing message waits for someone on your team.

  • One agent, one job

Each agent does a single narrow task. It does not wander into the next one.

  • Your rules, written in

The way your operation actually works is built into the system.

  • Your real data

We build on your loads and your inbox, not a demo.

Common questions

Do I need to replace my TMS?
No. Agents work in your existing TMS and tools. Or, if you want one, we can build a custom TMS for you.
Who owns what you build?
You do. What we build for you is yours.
Can you host and manage it?
Yes. We can hand it off to your team, or host and manage it for you. You choose.
Who approves bookings, rates, and messages?
Your team. An agent does not book, set a rate, or send a message on its own.
What can an agent take on?
One job at a time: load building, coverage, rate suggestions, tracking, POD collection, email routing, or lead automation.
Will this run on our data?
Yes. We build on your real operation, not a sample dataset.
Who does the work?
Freight operators and software engineers. Mike Gray leads the firm.
